Assalamu 'alaikum to all parents and guardians.
I am Sister Shahira Osman, the Arabic and Quranic Studies teacher from grades jk through 4. My educational qualifications entail my Bachelor of Arts, and Early Childhood Education degrees. I have been an Arabic and Quranic studies teacher for fifteen years, and have been with Islamic Foundation school for the past twelve years. I am honoured to be teaching all your children the Arabic language and Quraanic studies grades 1-2. I truly enjoy everyday of their progress. My goals are for the students to become enthusiastic and excited to learn Arabic language to help them understand the Qur'aan, as well as memorize it from their hearts. I am not only a teacher for them, I am more of a motherly character at a school environment, as well as a sister. For this academic year, I hope for the students to love learning more about the by accumulating as much vocabulary as possible, Insha'Allah!
